Anker has announced its new portable speaker that can float on water and has a sand cleaning feature through its sub-brand Soundcore, which operates in the field of audio technologies. The model, which was launched under the name Boom 3i, was developed especially for outdoor use scenarios such as beaches, lakes and pools.

The speaker offers full protection against water and dust with its IP68 certification. The device is designed to be exposed not only to fresh water but also to salt water. The Soundcore Boom 3i has a special coating that provides resistance to corrosion for up to two years even if it is completely submerged.
Thanks to its swimming feature, the Boom 3i can stay on water without sinking. Moreover, when the speaker falls into the water, it is always positioned upwards, not in a random position. This design preference allows users to listen to music while swimming.
Another striking feature of the device is the LED lights located at both ends of the speaker. These lights can work in sync with the rhythm of the music or can be preferred only as ambient lighting.
There is also a cleaning mode called “Buzz Clean” that is activated when sand or dust gets stuck in the speaker grill. This mode produces high-frequency vibrations to remove particles on the surface.
Boom 3i; It can use its sound power, which can reach up to 96 decibels, not only for music but also as an alarm in emergency situations when necessary. The speaker, which is controlled via Soundcore’s mobile app, can be used like a megaphone via the phone’s microphone.
